This evaluation conducted by Cambridge Policy Consultants investigates the value and impact of a selection of mid-sized equipment case studies.

The analysis estimates the economic impact deriving from equipment by considering both:

  • direct economic effects (i.e. those arising from expenditure on equipment and research)
  • indirect economic effects (i.e. those arising from the downstream benefits of the research activities).
