This is the final report of an independent evaluation commissioned by Research England. The impact evaluation of Research England’s strategic institutional research funding was delivered by external suppliers Fortia Insight (previous RSM) UK Consulting LLP, and RAND Europe. The evidence was collected and assessed from institutions in 2024/25.
