The plan outlines priorities and activities for each of our strategy goals:
- Support discovery and curiosity-driven research
- Address strategic government and societal priorities
- Help companies start, scale and stay in the UK
- Strengthen the foundations of the research and innovation system
- Reform our organisation
A reference in this delivery plan to the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) has been amended to the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade (DBIST), which was established 20 July 2026.
