The UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) budget allocations set out how we will invest £25 billion in world-class research and innovation. This world-class research and innovation will deliver benefits for communities across the UK.

The budget allocation explainer 2022 to 2025 reflects UKRI’s allocated budgets as confirmed following the 2021 Spending Review. For each financial year, we publish our annual report and accounts which provides our yearly actual spend, budgets, delivery milestones, and achievements against our corporate plan.
