The Medical Research Council (MRC) Impact Prize launched in 2022 to recognise individuals or teams who have made outstanding contributions in medical research. The prize has previously rewarded impacts in the areas of Open Science Impact, Outstanding Team Impact and Early Career Impact.

We are taking this time to review the scheme, including considering feedback from our research community and reflecting on how it has been delivered to date.
