Research England has allocated formula-based funding to higher education providers (HEPs) in England for the financial and academic year 2026 to 2027. We have published information about the basis and funding method for these allocations, and lists of the grant amounts for individual HEPs.
Most grants to HEPs are allocated from the higher education sector funding budgets for 2026 to 2027, which Research England published in July 2026.
