UKRI’s research review
UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) is conducting a comprehensive review of all current projects and related collaborations with Russian-based partners and institutions funded by our research councils and Innovate UK.
UKRI’s review seeks to ensure no research directly benefits the Russian government. Following engagement with the projects, each is being assessed to determine whether they can continue, need mitigation or should stop.
We will communicate the outcomes to the affected grant or loan holders. However, given the sensitivities for staff working on these projects and security issues, UKRI will not be providing the outcome details publicly.
