EPSRC research outcomes and impact

Impact can be defined as the long-term intended or unintended effect research and innovation has on society, economy and the environment, from individuals to organisations, nations and the wider global population.

For example, impact can result from knowledge, understanding and advancing research and innovation methodology, theory, and application across and within disciplines. It can also result from the development and commercialisation of new products, processes, services, and knowledge exchange and engagement.
