Pre-announcement: EPSRC UK-Japan collaboration in advanced functional materials

This funding opportunity aims to enable international research collaborations between the UK and Japan in the field of advanced materials.

Proposals should exhibit the potential to tackle large scale global research challenges and showcase their potential to support delivery of UN sustainability goals.

SBRI: Dementia Mission Bio-Hermes 2 – phase 3

Organisations can apply for a share of up to £4 million, inclusive of VAT, to enable selected blood-based and digital biomarkers to be evaluated as part of the Bio-Hermes 2 study led by the Global Alzheimer’s Platform Foundation (GAP).

Apply to lead or co-lead an interdisciplinary gut-immunology-brain axis research and innovation network+.

You must:

  • be based at a research organisation eligible for BBSRC funding
  • meet individual eligibility requirements

Funding of up to £5 million across four years will support one network.

Knowledge transfer partnerships (KTP): 2024 to 2025 round two

UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £1.2 million for collaborative projects that enable digital twins, data interoperability and cyber resilience in the UK energy networks. This funding is from Innovate UK.

International Green Corridors Fund: UK-Ireland feasibility studies

UK registered organisations and Irish organisations can apply for a share of up to a combined total of £860,000 (EUR 1 million) for joint research and development projects focused on UK and Irish green shipping corridor routes.

Automotive Transformation Fund feasibility studies: round five

UK registered organisations can apply for a share of up to £2 million. This is for business case feasibility studies to support scale up of the UK’s zero emission automotive supply chain.

AHRC Cultural heritage research translated into climate change policy

Apply for DCMS funding to maximise the impact of UK arts and humanities research, and ensure it supports cultural heritage and cultural voices to play an essential role in climate planning for the future.
