China UK One Health research for epidemic preparedness and AMR

Apply for funding through a China UK Flagship Challenge funding opportunity to support China-UK research teams in the field of One Health research for epidemic preparedness and antimicrobial resistance (AMR).

We are looking for internationally competitive, full-scale collaborative and innovative partnerships.

Land use for net zero – research (LUNZ-Research)

Apply for funding for transdisciplinary, high-impact innovative research projects to develop the UK’s capacity and capability for transforming land use for net zero, nature and people.

The full economic cost (FEC) of your project can range from £2,500,000 to £4,500,000. UKRI will fund 80% FEC.

India-UK partnership to address farmed animal diseases and health

Apply for funding to advance the mechanistic understanding of host-pathogen interactions in farmed animals or to tackle veterinary antimicrobial resistance (Vet-AMR) or both.

You must be based at a UK research organisation eligible for BBSRC funding and you must have a partner in India eligible for DBT funding.

UKRI Centres for Doctoral Training in artificial intelligence

Apply for funding for a Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) focused on the applications and implications of artificial intelligence (AI).

You must be based at a UK research organisation eligible for UKRI funding and have been successful at the outline stage.

Proposals are welcomed within priority areas addressing UK training needs in novel and existing AI technologies across the remit of UKRI.

Protected and Controlled Environment Horticulture full stage

Apply for funding for innovation-focused research in Protected and Controlled Environment Horticulture (PACE). £5 million is available for awards of between £250,000 and £750,000 at 80% full economic cost over 2 to 4 years.

You must be based at a UK research organisation eligible for UKRI funding. Industry partners and contributions are required.

UKRI cross research council responsive mode pilot scheme: round 1

Apply for funding for breakthrough interdisciplinary ideas that transcend, combine or significantly span disciplines.

This pilot scheme will support ideas not routinely funded through existing UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) responsive mode schemes.

Principal investigators must be based at an organisation eligible for UKRI research council funding.
