Search and filter this listFollowing the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund (ISCF) Industrial Decarbonisation Research and Innovation Centre Champion funding opportunity which identified a leader for the research components of this challenge, we now invite one full proposal from the champion to fund a multidisciplinary research and innovation programme, which currently does not exist at the scale.
We invite outline proposals from interdisciplinary academic-led teams to research social, behavioural and design aspects of healthy ageing.
Successful projects will:
- receive a grant of up to £2 million
- research ways to help people enjoy at least five extra healthy, independent, years of life by 2035.
Institutions can apply for funding to support a knowledge exchange and commercialisation professional for up to four years, to cultivate opportunities to turn STFC-funded research into commercial products and services or promote opportunities arising out of the research to other users. We will fund 40% of the full economic costs. Host institutions are expected to make a financial contribution to demonstrate their support.
