On 26 March 2026 the Chair of the House of Commons Science, Innovation and Technology Committee, Dame Chi Onwurah MP, wrote to Lord Vallance and Professor Sir Ian Chapman with a series of questions about the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) cost pressures.
This letter followed a previous letter from Lord Vallance and Professor Sir Ian Chapman to the Chair, sent on 19 March 2026.
The response to the Chair has now been published on the Committee’s web page.
