Details

This circular letter outlines the initial decisions that the UK’s higher education funding bodies have made on the high-level design of the next REF. It also invites higher education providers and other groups and organisations with an interest in the conduct, quality, funding or use of research to provide their views on a number of specific policy areas through a short, focused consultation.

The initial decisions have been developed in partnership by the four UK higher education funding bodies (Research England, Scottish Funding Council, Higher Education Funding Council for Wales, and Department for Economy Northern Ireland).

This is the website for UKRI: our seven research councils, Research England and Innovate UK. Let us know if you have feedback or would like to help improve our online products and services.
