STFC provides research grant funding to UK higher education institutions and research organisations for astronomy, particle physics, nuclear physics, and for associated technology development, research infrastructure and knowledge exchange.

Throughout 2023, applicants will start using the UKRI Funding Service instead of the Joint Electronic Submission (Je-S) system.
